The SUNS won their 11th straight game 121-111 at home and handed the Nets their fifth straight loss, moving 41-9 to the top of the western Conference. The backcourt duo of Paul and Booker never failed against harden and Irving’s top-tier backcourt.Booker finished with 35 points, six rebounds and two assists in 40 minutes on 13-of-23 shooting, including 3-of-8 from 3-point range and 6-of-7 from the free throw line.Paul finished with 20 points, four rebounds, 14 assists and two steals on 5-for-12 shooting in 39 minutes and only two turnovers.Over the past three games, Paul has had 47 assists and just six turnovers, a nearly 8-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio and one turnover for every eight assists.Elsewhere, Bridges finished with 27 points, eight rebounds and four assists in 40 minutes on 10-for-14 shooting, including 1-for-3 on 3-pointers and 6-for-7 on free throws, setting a season high for the second straight game. It’s worth noting that Bridges has been on full schedule so far this season, as has Paul, and the SUNS are the only team in the league with multiple players on full schedule. For the Nets, Kyrie Irving had 26 points, four rebounds and three assists on 10-for-20 shooting in 36 minutes, including 3-for-8 from 3-point range and 3-for-4 from the free throw line.Harden finished with 22 points, five rebounds and 10 assists on 6-for-19 shooting in 37 minutes.Irving and Harden both played well today, but they didn’t take advantage of Paul and Booker to win.Irving is clearly inferior to Chris Paul’s point guard, and Harden is inferior to Booker’s point guard.Sure, Harden is more of a point guard and Kyrie is more of a point guard, but neither point guard nor point guard is as good as Cp3 and Booker today.
