Beijing, February 8 (CNR.CN) — The preliminary evaluation of 2021 national Top 10 new archaeological discoveries was launched on February 8.In 2021, more than 1,700 archaeological excavations were approved nationwide.All the candidate projects were submitted by qualified excavation units on their own initiative, and 32 projects were finally determined for evaluation after examination by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage (the list is as follows).The selection office will organize the voting to recommend 20 items to enter the final evaluation.It is reported that 91 institutions qualified for archaeological excavations have collective voting rights.The 136 members of the seventh council of the Archaeological Society of China have voting rights.The deadline for collecting ballot papers is February 21 (mail to the campaign office).Overdue will be deemed as waiver.
